We met in Nashville and built a friendship around a shared frustration: smart, capable business owners were being sold tools they didn't understand, strategies they couldn't execute, and promises that never materialized.
Meanwhile the gap between businesses that understood digital and AI and those that didn't kept getting wider. We watched it happen over and over -- ndash; a business owner walks away from a consulting engagement with a beautiful deck, zero clarity, and a smaller bank account.
We believe the answer to that gap isn't more technology. It's better guidance. Someone who will sit down with you, learn your business, and help you figure out what actually makes sense for where you are right now -- ndash; not what sounds impressive in a pitch.
We're not here to impress you with jargon or sell you a package. We're here to help you understand what's possible, build what makes sense, and make sure you're capable of running it when we're done.
"The businesses that win aren't the ones with the biggest budgets. They're the ones that understood the tools early and used them with intention."
Adam Craft, Co-Founder
Adam has spent 15+ years at the intersection of technology, marketing, and operations -- ndash; leading large teams, building complex digital systems, and delivering results for some of the most recognized brands in the country.
Before mobile check-in was an industry standard, Adam was building it. A multiple-time Apple launch partner, he has led digital delivery for global hospitality and airline brands. He currently serves as EVP of Operations at Grayscale Event Marketing, one of the nation's leading live event marketing agencies.
He holds a Master's in Marketing and has spent his entire career solving problems that didn't have obvious answers yet. That background informs everything about how Deep Cut Digital approaches a client engagement.
Kyle is a practicing optometrist and small business owner who chose to go deep on AI and digital strategy -- ndash; not because someone told him to, but because he saw firsthand what the gap between early adopters and everyone else was going to cost.
Originally from Columbia, Tennessee, Kyle earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry. He brings clinical precision, a small business owner's instincts, and a genuine understanding of what it takes to modernize a practice without losing what makes it personal.
His background gives Deep Cut Digital real credibility in the healthcare space -- ndash; and a perspective on AI that most consultants simply don't have. When Kyle talks about running a small business in a high-stakes industry, he's not theorizing.
We'll tell you when something doesn't make sense for your business. We'd rather lose a project than oversell a solution that won't work.
We want you to understand what we build. A client who knows how their systems work is a client who can grow without us -- ndash; and that's exactly the point.
AI is a tool, not an answer. The best implementations put human judgment at the center and let technology handle the repetitive work.
We met in Nashville through mutual friends and discovered quickly that we were both seeing the same problem from different angles -- ndash; Adam from the enterprise and agency side, Kyle from the small business and healthcare side. The more we talked, the more obvious it became that the people who needed this the most were the ones being served the least.
Because those are the spaces where the gap is most pronounced and the stakes are highest. Healthcare practices are built on trust and precision -- ndash; modernizing them requires someone who actually understands that world. Small businesses are the backbone of the economy and they're being underserved by consultants who built their expertise at the enterprise level. We come at both from the inside.
Most AI consultants came up through tech. We came up through operations, delivery, and practice ownership. That means we think about AI the way an operator does -- ndash; what does this actually change about how work gets done, and is the tradeoff worth it? We're not here to evangelize the technology. We're here to help you use it well.
No. We're two founders who do focused, high-impact work with a small number of clients at a time. We're not trying to build a 50-person agency. We're trying to do great work and be honest about our capacity. If we can't take you on right now, we'll tell you.
Thirty minutes. No pitch. Just an honest conversation about your business.
